Warp technology is common to the old civilizations. Warp devices are attached to complicated stabilizers to prevent warp anomalies from occurring during use.
During the onslaught of the apocalypse which ended the worlds of old, many tried to use warp to escape the reach of disasters without concern to the integrity of the stabilizers. This is what we believe to be the source of the warp storm.
The strange anomaly flickers in and out of our existence seemingly at random time and space with varying intensities.
Is it jumping through time? Or does it exist in 5 dimensions? More observation is required.
